Nikola Jokic and Serbia did not have much trouble against Lauri Markkanen led Finland to stay undefeated in EuroBasket 2022.

The Serbian national team (3-0) did not have much trouble against Lauri Markkanen and Finland (1-2) in their Monday night win with a final score of 100-70 (33-22, 29-12, 14-14, 24-22).

The game was out of reach for Finland in the second already. Serbia won the second quarter 29-12 and had already a 28-point lead (62-34) after the first half of the game.

During the third quarter Finland did not manage to get any closer despite Lauri Markkanen's efforts, and after that, the fourth quarter, in which Serbia only increased their lead, was just a formality.

The Serbians were led by the trio of Vasilije Micic, Nikola Jokic, and Nikola Kalinic, who all finished the game with over 20 efficiency points.

Lauri Markkanen's performance of 18 points (6/10 2PTS, 2/6 3PTS, 0/1 FT), 7 rebounds, and 5 assists for 22 EFF was not enough to keep Finland in the game.

Nikola Jokic ended the game with 13 points (6/9 2PTS, 0/3 3PTS, 1/2 FT), 14 rebounds, and 7 assists in 26 minutes for 26 EFF.
